Abstract

839,719. Machinery guards. MOORE & SONS Ltd., C. F. July 15, 1958 [Nov. 21, 1957], No. 36319/57. Class 80 (4). A guard 1 of a wire stitching machine is linked by a rod 8 to an arm 4 operating a locking pin 6 engaging a clutch-actuating rod E so that when the guard is in position the locking pin 6 is withdrawn but on removal of the guard for adjustment or maintenance the pin 6 is engaged by a spring-loaded plunger 9 with a hole 10 in the clutch rod.
