Abstract

839,618. Wet filters. SVENSKA FLAKTFABRIKEN A.B. Aug. 29, 1958 [Sept. 5, 1957], No. 27853/58. Class 55 (2). A filter for removing dust from air comprises a casing 1 through which a stream of the air passes and which contains a filter element 7 arranged obliquely to the stream of air and sprayed continuously with water or other washing liquid. The filter element consists of a multi-layer mat 9 preferably made of filaments of plastic and enclosed in a frame 8 of wire mesh.
