836,488. Chairs. BIDDULPH INDUSTRIES Ltd., BIDDULPH, C. L., and REASON, N. P. Aug. 15, 1958 [March 5, 1958], No. 7085/58. Class 52(2) Stackable chairs are formed from separate lengths of metal tubing consisting of an inverof U-shaped back 9, bottom rails 10, inverted L-shaped front leg and seat supporting rails 14, a front floor rail 13, and rear seat rail 16, the various parts being secured at their junctions by welding or like means, the ends of the rails 13, 16 being received in sockets 12, 15 whereby adjacent chairs can be connected. Connecting devices for adjacent chairs or for chairs in adjacent rows as described in Specification. 836,486 may be provided.
