Abstract
836,362. Toothed gearing. SUNDT, E. V. Oct. 31, 1957, No. 33998/57. Class 80 (1). [Also in Group XVIII] In a synchronous motor clock the gear train to the hands includes a preferably plastic wobble gear 38, Fig. 3, on an inclined crank 33 and an eccentric gear 54. The wobble gear toothed ring 39 has one more tooth than the normally stationary reaction gear 27 and the toothed ring 41 has one more tooth than the driven gear 47. The gear ring 40 of the wobble gear 38 has the same number of teeth as the driven gear 44. The sleeve 49 of the gear 47 has an eccentric portion 52 which supports the gear 54 the teeth 55 of which co-operate with the reaction gear 56 formed in the dial plate 16 and with the driven gear 58 which has one more tooth than the gear 54. The hours, minutes, seconds and fractions of a second hands 65, 64, 63, 62 are attached to the appropriate shafts.
