833,293. Hopper vibrators. DAMOND, E. July 26, 1957 [Nov. 20, 1956], No. 23823/57. Class 78 (1). Vibrating plate 18 is suspended in powder contained in a hopper and pivots about spindle 21 covered with rubber sleeve 22 and carries an electromagnetic (or rotary) vibrator 19 so that stationary transverse waves set up in the plate break up the " bridges " of material in the hopper.
