Abstract

Ferric acid is incorporated in test tablets, pellets, &c., for chemical analysis. Alginic acid may also be incorporated as a disintegratagent. Tablets exemplified contain sulphanilic acid, a - naphthylamine dimethyl - a - naphthylamine or a salt of dimethyl aniline used in the Griess diazo test for nitriles and ferric chloride used to test for phenyl pyruvic acid.
