830,298. Ladders. YOUNGMAN Ltd. W. C. Aug. 11, 1958 [Nov. 4, 1957], No. 34350/57. Class 20(2) Folding steps have a platform formed of the top step which comprises slats 5 pivoted alternately to cross members 6 between the front and back stiles 1, 3 respectively. The slats 6 are also pivoted at 8 so as to fold up with the ladder. The front stiles 1 are extended and joined by a cross bar 9 to support the user. A collapsible rimmed tray 10 supports paint &c.
