[Also in Group XXXI] The mean height of the wheel suspension arm 3 of a vehicle or other oscillatory mechanism is indicated by an apparatus consisting of a soft-walled rubber-like unit 7 which is filled with a liquid, such as a glycerine-water solution under pressure, and connected by a capillary tube 8 to a rubber accumulator 10 and a pressure gauge 9.
