Abstract

<PICT:0585155/IV/1> <PICT:0585155/IV/2> In a sphygmomanometer wherein a tube B backed by a scale on a frame C is connected at its lower end to a mercury reservoir A, the tube B is made of a substantially unbreakable plastic material, such as that known by the Registered Trade Mark "Perspex," and is screwed at one end to the reservoir A of similar material and at its other end to a cap F forming the top end of the sheet metal frame.
