824,236. Substation circuits. GENERAL ELECTRIC CO. Ltd. Dec. 12, 1957 [Sept. 12, 1956], No. 38554/57. Divided out of 824,235. Addition to 743,024. Class 40 (4). A substation circuit receives current from a central battery exchange for powering the transmitter 5. The voltage of this current is stabilized by a resistance network including a thermistor 8, is rectified by a bridge 9 of germanium diodes and supplies a transistor 4 amplifying speech currents supplied to the receiver 3. This circuit is also included in Specification 824,235 from which the present application is divided.
