859,473. Transistor two stable state circuits. SIEMENS-SCHUCKERTWERKE A. G. Sept. 17, 1957 [Oct. 31, 1956], No. 29292/57. Class 40(6). [Also in Group XXXV] In an automatic voltage regulator (see Group XXXV) two transistors 4, 5 have their bases and collectors cross connected to form a bistable trigger pair, and a forwardly conducting non-linear diode 7 is included in one crossconnection to prevent the pair from being triggered by a signal of less than a predetermined level. Alternatively a Zener diode may be used with appropriate polarity. A second diode 30 may optionally be connected in the other crossconnection.
