[Also in Group XXXVI] A chassis for supporting heat-generating components such as thermionic valves or transistors includes ducting for the passage of cooling liquid, which ducting is shaped so as to support the component holders and be in good thermal contact therewith, while keeping the liquid out of direct contact with the components. In the embodiment shown, the ducting is in the form of a series of connected rings 4, 5. A valve with a surrounding screen 1 is secured within a ring 4 by means of washers 2, 6 and a nut 7. Specifications 752,537 [Group XXXIII] 779,578 and 780,323 are referred to.
