806,140. Supporting telephone sets. UNITEDCARR FASTENER CORPORATION. June 25, 1957 [July 3, 1956], No. 20019/57. Class 40 (4). [Also in Group XIV] A support for telephone sets consists of a member 16 attached to the base 12 of the set and having a recess 24 in its upper surface in which lies a resilient body 18 having parts 30 which extend through apertures 26 in the base of the recess and engage the supporting surface. As shown, the member 16 has upward extensions 32 which take into a socket in the base 12 and are spread out by a rod 36 but in a modification the support is held in place by a screw.
