Abstract
As stock feed are employed non-sticky products of consistencies ranging from powdery to semi-plastic comprising molasses incorporated in precooked cereal grain such as maize. The precooked cereal is preferably meal or flour so absorbent that products of 78% molasses content can be made. The product may be heated to candify to some extent the molasses coating the cereal particles. The product may be compacted to friable cakes, briquettes or the like. The products are readily packaged for transport. Ingredients such as sulphur, lime, salt, vitamins and enzymes may be incorporated in the products. Specification 821,761 is referred to.ALSO:Molasses is incorporated in precooked cereal grain such as maize to form non-sticky products of consistencies ranging from powdery to semiplastic. The precooked cereal is preferably meal or flour so absorbent that products of 78% molasses content can be made. The product may be heated to candify to some extent the molasses coating the cereal particles. The product may be compacted to friable cakes, briquettes or the like. The products are readily packaged for transport. They may be mixed with dried milk, liquid milk or water or may be used in bread, biscuit or cake-making when intended for human consumption.
