Abstract
821,654. Agricultural implements. FENET, G., and FENET, G. Oct. 1, 1956 [Oct. 1, 1955], No. 29876/56. Class 6(1). A fore-carriage for a plough is arranged to be coupled to lift linkage 4a, 4b, 7 of a tractor and comprises wheels mounted on a shaft 19 forming part of a frame 1 pivoted about a shaft 2 connected to the lower links 4a, 4b, the depth of ploughing being adjusted by means of a handwheel 11 connecting a strut 8 on the frame 1 with a member 5 fixed on shaft 8 and connected to the upper link 7. The plough beam 15 is provided with a bar 16 hitched to a strut 17 of the frame 1 by a hook 18 which is released when the draught of the plough reaches a certain magnitude. The plough may be lifted by means of the lift linkage by means of the shaft 19 which engages under the beam 15.
