Abstract

821,613. Endless conveyers. NAYLOR BROS. Ltd. June 18, 1956 [May 20, 1955], No. 14669/55. Class 78 (1). An endless conveyer comprises a plurality of plates 17 bent to form sides 18 and provided at each side with jaws 21 which are formed with grooves 22 at top and bottom so that these engage on top of the ropes 16 at both bottom and top runs thereof. Each plate 17 (Fig. 3), is formed with a rear rounded portion 19 to releasably and pivotally link with shafts 23 carried by an adjacent plate 17. In a second embodiment (Fig. 7), the endless conveyer comprises a belt 30 having supporting elements 27 which are shaped at 24 to form jaws for the ropes 15 and 16, and are formed with upstanding side pieces 28 shaped at 29 to form jaws.
