[Also in Group XVII] A carrier-wheel for bag closure folders (see Group XVII) is given a rotary motion which varies in speed during each revolution, through an arrangement comprising two coaxial gears 23, 24, the gear 24 being connected directly to the carrier-wheel and the gear 23 to the driving mechanism (not shown). A connecting epicyclic gear 25 is oscillated by an arm 28 actuated by an eccentric 27 to give the required speed variations.
