815,688. Insulating bushings. UNITED-CARR FASTENER CORPORATION. May 31, 1957 [June 1, 1956], No. 17447/57. Class 36. An insulating and strain-relieving bushing comprises two halfshells of insulating plastic, e.g. nylon, joined by an integral bridging piece 10, each half-shell having integrally formed jaws such as 16 and 30 which overlap when the two halfshells are closed together to grip a conductor. The outer surface of the bushing may be tapered and provided with a peripheral groove 12 so that it may be pushed through the aperture in a casing and held therein.
