815,143. Lifter-mechanism for textile spinning &c. machines. WHITELEY. W. Nov. 13, 1957 [July 30, 1957], No. 24047/57. Class 120(2) For adjusting the lifter-rail of a textile spinning &c. machine, if desired while the machine is running, bushes 4, 5 are provided on the traverse-rail to one side of the cranked-arm which operates the pokers; the bushes have cam-shaped endfaces so that when one bush is rotated relatively to another, the position of the lever can be adjusted. The bush 4 is positioned by a nut 4a sunk to distinguish it from the nut 5a by which the other bush is secured. A collar 3 is provided on the other side of the lever.
