Abstract

814,859. Time switches. BRITISH FOREIGN & COLONIAL AUTOMATIC LIGHT CONTROLLING CO. Ltd. Oct. 3, 1957 [July 15, 1957], No. 22315/57. Class 38 (5). A micro-switch 3 has a plunger 7 acted on by a lever 4 pivoted at 5 and under the control of a timing dial 2 having adjustable projections 9, 16. The switch is closed when lever 4 is depressed by the engagement of projectior 9 with a cam surface 8 on the lever 4, which is then latched by a lever 12 which has an aperture 13 which engages the end 10 of the lever 4. The projection 16 subsequently tilts lever 12 clockwise against the action of a spring 14 to release the lever 4 and allow the switch to open.
