812,540. Screw-sockets &c. ROHE, F. W. Nov. 28, 1957, No. 37163/57. Class 89(1) An anchor-element in the form of an internally-screwed-socket A, Fig. 2, or a screwed-stud B, Fig. 6, for attachment to a panel comprising spaced-skins 10, 10<SP>1</SP> interconnected by a cellular-filling 11, consists of a shank 14 and an enlarged-head 15 with a frusto-conical outer-surface 16, and formed near its end remote from the shank. with a groove 17 and a ridge 19. The element is assembled to the panel through a hole 18 in skin 10, of slightly smaller-diameter than ridge 19. Thus the panel snaps into the groove. The space around the shank is filled with a syntheticresin 21 which anchors in a groove 22 in the shank. The bottom of the groove may be deformed to form a thread-lock. In the case of stud B, the shank 32 is non- circular and has a groove 33. In another arrangement, a radially-disposed nylonplug constitutes the thread-lock, and the socket may be open from the head-end
