811,147. Surgical foot support. TIPPER, K. Dec. 7, 1956 [Oct. 11, 1955], No. 28862/55. Class 81 (2). For use with legs encased in plaster bandages a platform 1 is secured below the foot, or embedded in the plaster, and carries a projection 3 having a cylindrical piece 4 which extends across the width of the foot below the heel and has a U-shaped frame 8 pivoted in it at each side by cylindrical attachments 11. The frame tends to be urged downwards by springs 13 and may be partially embedded in the rubber sole of a boot. The frame 8 may be detached by pressing its side limbs inwards and removing the fittings 11 through the slots 5.
