Abstract

803,263. Shoot construction. WILD & CO., Ltd., M. B. July 25, 1956 [Aug. 24, 1955], No. 24324/55. Class 78 (1). [Also in Groups XII and XXXII] An inclined floor for use in shoots, comprises a plurality of parallel spaced supporting bars 4, Fig. 1, extending transversely of the slope of the floor and serving to support floor plates 6, each plate 6 having one or more downwardly directed lugs 7 adapted to engage above the lower of a pair of adjacent bars 4 between which the plate 6 extends and the lower edge of each plate overlapping the upper edge of the plate next below it. Each plate 6 has a downward projection 8 to limit sliding movement of the plate upwardly, by abutting an upper bar 4. The bars 4 are supported on longitudinal bars 5, the latter bars supporting an undershield 9 for directing any water, which may seep between the plates 6. The plates 6 of the top row are each provided with an upturned flange 10 whilst the plates 6 of the lowest row are each provided with a downturned flange 11.
