Abstract
802,577. Loose leaf binders. BROADHURST, C. J. July 27, 1956 [Aug. 8, 1955], Class 146(1) A loose leaf binder of the kind using a lace or laces passing through holes H, I in sheets E, the back B and/or spine C and clamped by devices such as O, O<SP>1</SP> on a flap D on the front cover A, has two laces F, G each having a spear end tag and a sheath end tag K, K<SP>1</SP> and L, L<SP>1</SP> which may be joined as in Fig. 3 to form closed loops over which the sheets E can be passed for insertion or removal of sheets at any position or the ends of each lace may be joned into those of the other as in Fig. 1 with the spear tag L of lace G engaging the sheath tag K of lace F at the rear of the binder and the ends K<SP>1</SP> and L<SP>1</SP> being joined at the front after passing through the flap D and being secured by the clamping devices O, O<SP>1</SP>.
