802,387. Ground anchors. HIMMELFARB, G. July 3, 1957 [July 3, 1956], No.20998/57. Class 45. A ground anchor comprises a metal plate 1 for driving into the ground and having a tongue 5 for connection to a wire 7 or rod, and a metal plate 2 having a slot 9 egnaging the tongue and acting as flukes. The anchor is driven into the ground by means of a slotted tube 12. Where a rod is used as the attachment to the tongue it may be used to drive the anchor, but if the stiffness of the rod is insufficient a tube may be slipped over the rod.
