Class 100(1) In a sheet-fed rotary printing press, particularly an offset lithographic press, a sheet-transfer cylinder provided with grippers has a gripper bar mounted at the periphery and extending generally parallel to the arms of the cylinder, and a number of independently operable devices are connected to the gripper bar whereby the bar can be adjusted selectively to cocked or bowed positions to accommodate sheets having front edges which are concave, convex, or slanting. The press is substantially as described in Specification 801,347 from which the present Specification is divided, Specincation 801,349 also is referred to.
