801,133. Collapsible food covers. DINGER, A. Dec. 23, 1954 [Dec. 29, 1953], No. 37151/54. Class 128 A dish cover capable of being opened or closed by one hand only consists of supporting ribs 3 pivotally secured to a plug 2 and distending ribs 5 secured to lugs on a plate 6 fixed on a spindle 1. In operation the thumb is inserted into the ring 1a at the upper end of the spindle and two fingers grip either side of the plug 2; downward pressure on the spindle with the thumb then causes the cover to open.
