797,728. Crop sprayers. PEARCH, L. C., and PEARCH, R. L. July 11, 1956 [July 12, 1955], No. 20127/55. Class 69 (3). A wheeled machine includes a fan 12, Fig. 2, which carries away the spray from reversible spray nozzles 25 mounted adjacent the fan outlet 14. A pair of shaped plates or liners 15, Fig. 4, of approximate wedge section are secured to the opposite sides of the fan outlet and their inner edges are recessed at 16 to form bays of tapering depth leading to rounded air outlet apertures. The aperture spacing corresponds to that of the nozzles 25 which are connected to tubes 29, Fig. 5, rotatably mounted in fittings 28 so that the spray from the nozzles can be directed towards or away from the fan outlet.
