Abstract

796,250. Agricultural implements. OKSANEN, A. H. June 14, 1956 [April 25, 1956], No. 18447/56. Class 6(1). A harrow comprises a frame 1 on the front of which is mounted a disc harrow (not shown) and a spring tine harrow 8. The harrow 8 is removable and may be replaced by other forms of harrow such as a toothed harrow. As shown a smoothing beam 2 is provided at the front of the frame and an adjustable beam 3 at the rear of the frame. The spring tines 8 are mounted on axles mounted in bearings on brackets 7 fixed to the frame 1 and supported by a longitudinal beam 9. Connecting rods 13 are attached to the axles 6 and are joined by a member 14. The rear rod 13 is extended to form an adjusting handle for rotating the axles 6 and varying the inclination of the tines 8 and is held in position by a supporting bar 15 provided with a number of holes 16 one of which is engaged by a pin 17.
