Abstract

793,897. Drying grain &c. BLANCH, A. B. Jan. 29, 1957 [June 15, 1956], No. 18517/56, Class 34(2) Apparatus for drying agricultural products, e.g. grain, comprises a louvered tray 10 inclined at a small angle to the horizontal and having overlapping slats 11 and a removable endplate 12. Hot air from a furnace 14 is supplied by a fan 15 to a duct 12a and passes beneath the tray and up between the slats so drying the grain. In another embodiment in which two traps are arranged side by side a threeposition damper provided in the air duct controls the supply, so that air passes to either or both trays at will.
