Abstract

790,794. Rack stands. VICTROLEC, Ltd. June 28, 1956 [June 30, 1955], No. 18881/55. Class 52(3) [Also in Group XXX] Frames similar to that shown in Fig. 1 can be fitted round platform pallets to permit them to be stacked similarly to box pallets. The frame illustrated has feet 10 adapted to nest over top rails 19 in a similar frame 12 and formed with flanges 13, the inner flanges supporting the pallet 14. The side frame shown in Fig. 2 fits between the uprights 15 of the frame of Fig. 1 and is pressed down by engagement of its bowed upper rail 22 under the upper rail 19 so that its lower rail 20 clamps the pallet 14 in position. Spring- biased ball catches carried by portions 24 of the frame of Fig. 1 secure the side frames in position. The device may have side walls of mesh or other form.
