Class 75(4) In a vehicle electric lamp comprising a reflector a a bulb holder c, a transparent front glass h and a hood e which shields the bulbs d so that the light beam is derived wholly or mainly from the reflector, the hood also serves as a means for securing the front glass to the reflector. A screw j attached to the hood passes through a central hole in the front glass to engage a nut k. Alternatively a screw may pass through the front glass into engagement with a threaded hole in the hood. The periphery of the front glass as a cylindrical flange which abuts a rubber sealing ring b accommodated in a peripheral groove in the reflector. The hood is cylindrical and has apertures f, g for the passage of light it is secured at one end to the reflector.
