Class 19 [Also in Group VI] A brush comprises a back a of synthetic material, a plurality of bristles a<SP>1</SP> integral' with said back, and a perforated sponge b that is pushed over the bristles a<SP>1</SP> to fill the space between the bristles. The tips of the bristles may project from, be level with or be below the free surface of the sponge, which may be either stuck to the back a or to a perforated plate that can be pushed over the bristles and held to said back by a flange.
