Abstract

581,267. Brushes. OVEREND, H. Aug. 17, 1944, No. 15687. [Class 19] A brush comprises bristles 12 set in a rubber head 10 which is at the same time moulded into a sheath 11 and a handle 15 placed in the sheath to abut the head 10 and secured therein by a binding 16 such as a collar of sheet metal, whereupon the remainder of the sheath is turned inside out to the position shown so that the ribs 13 and lip 17 formed thereon are disposed adjacent the bristles and the turnedover sheath serves as a drip cap which may be readily turned inside out for cleaning.
