Abstract
776,877. Cartons. MOLINS MACHINE CO., Ltd., and CHALMERS, J. W. Aug. 29, 1955 [Sept. 7, 1954 ; May 19, 1955], Nos. 25946/54 and 14511/55. Class 18. A carton having double thickness side walls and a lid hinged to the back wall has side panels on the top, front and rear walls of the lid, two panels abutting to form a single thickness wall and being covered by the third panel to form double thickness lid side walls. In one embodiment, panels 12 on the lid rear wall 7 abut panels 13a on a member 10 which reinforces the lid top 8, and both panels are covered by panels 14 on the lid front wall 9. The wall 9 is reinforced by a member 11. In another embodiment panels such as 13a extend from the top 8 instead of the member 10. Specification 744,558 is referred to.
