An endless track for a selflaying track vehicle comprises a single series of rigid driving bars 5, Fig. 2, alternating with, in the longitudinal direction of the track and interspaced in such direction by the pads 6 of each of one or more series of internally reinforced ground-engaging pads of rubber or like material, the pad reinforcements 7 projecting (in the form of connector blocks 8) both fore and aft of each pad 6 and extending over the outer ground adjacent surface of each bar 5 and being secured to the bars by bolts 9, whereof the heads 9a are received in recesses 10 countersunk in the inner bogie-wheel adjacent surfaces of the bars. As shown in Fig. 1, each driving bar 5 is thickened at the ends and at the centre by recessing at 12 and is provided with a central recess 15 and guides 14, the recesses co-operating with a driving sprocket 16, Fig. 2, and the guides flanking the pulleys (not shown) mounted at each side of the sprocket 16. The reinforcement 7 for each pad 6 is in the form of a single length of roller chain whose ends are hinged to the connector blocks 8 forming the fore and aft projections. The blocks 8 of adjacent pads overlap each other and are clamped to bar 5 by a plate 11 and the bolts 9. The plate 11 is also secured to the thickened ends of the bar 5 by bolts 13. The heads 9a of the bolts 9 are cropped-off at 9b to provide surfaces co-operating with corresponding wall faces in the bar 5 to prevent the bolts 9 from rotating.
