772,257. Regulating volume of flow of fluid; fluid-actuated valves. PNEUMATIC COMPONENTS, Ltd. April 14, 1955 [April 24, 1954], No. 11889/54. Class 135. [Also in Group XVIII] A timing member for air dispensing apparatus comprises a non-return valve 66 having its inlet 67 open to a choke tube 69 in a passage 72 and to a connection 62 to a pressure-sensitive balancing member controlling a main valve in the air supply at 63 to the passage, and a connection 64 from the passage to an air delivery connector for a receiver. The timing member is incorporated in air dispensing apparatus as described in Specification 766,354. The choke tube is interchangeable. According to the Provisional Specification the tube may contain a wire or rod adjusted manually or automatically by a Bourdon gauge or bellows responsive to receiver pressure so that the pulses decrease in length as the receiver pressure rises.
