Abstract

771,876. Roll-holders. COLOMBO, L. E. Oct. 18, 1955, No. 29741/55. Class 18. A cover for a paper roll holder in which a roll of paper is adapted to be rotatably carried on a substantially cylindrical roller member (not shown), comprises a hollow body having an opening 2 formed in one side of such dimensions that at least a part of the roll is capable of extending into the body through the opening, a further opening 5 formed in one of the other sides of the body through which the paper is capable of being withdrawn and clips 14 arranged to extend through the opening 2 to engage both the opposite ends of the roller member and the hollow body. The cover is fitted by bearing surfaces 11 to a wall recessed to receive the paper roll carried between the clips 14. A serrated edge 8 is provided for tearing off paper.
