Abstract

764,719. Rotary engines and pumps. NUEBLING, O. Aug. 12, 1954 [Aug. 13, 1953], No. 23396/54. Class 110 (2). In a rotary engine or pump having internallymeshing rotors of the n and n+1 lobe type, the internal rotor 2 is provided with a rotatably adjustable control valve 11 which is partitioned for separating the inlet and delivery sides, see Fig. 1 (not shown), and has a cross passage 29 for relieving liquid trapped in a diminishing space. As shown, one face of the valve corresponds in width to that of the radial slits 33 in the rotor 2 whilst the opposite face of the valve is of greater width. The shaft 1 and the valve are provided with ports 10, 18 respectively, see Fig. 1 (not shown), for the passage of the liquid. Specification 681,893 is referred to.
