Abstract

759,802. Respiratory appliances. LEWIS, H.B. May 21,1954, No. 15098/54. Class 81(2). A form of connection between a face mask and a filter member comprises a tubular member forming part of or attached to one of these two components and passing into an aperture in the other with the interposition of a resilient sealing member. The connection is described as applied to a mask associated with a dust filter. The filter 41, Fig. 2, is enclosed in a casing II, the rear wall 20 of which carries a tubular member 22, which is sealed in an aperture 19 in the face mask 10 by means of a rubber annulus 23. The filter element is described and claimed in Specification 759,828.
