Class 52(1) A spring-biased catch 9 for a sliding rack or drawer 1 having side flanges 5 sliding on fixed rails 6 is pivoted at 12 to the drawer supporting structure and engages in a slot 15 cut in the flange 5 to prevent complete withdrawal. A chamfered edge 11 to the arm 9 permits the drawer to be easily closed and a finger-piece 16 facilitates manual operation when the drawer is to be completely removed.
