Abstract

Class 80(2) A clutch disc B has circumferentially arranged slots containing compressed helical shock absorbing springs D also received in circumferentially arranged slots in two plates A<SP>1</SP> riveted to a small flange a on an internally splined clutch hub A. A ring of friction material C, Fig. 4, is secured to one side of the plate B by rivets c, and another ring of friction material C is secured by further rivets c to segments B', in turn secured by rivets c<SP>1</SP> to the other side of theplate B. The outer periphery of the plate B is divided radially into segments by slots b<SP>2</SP>. A spacer ring b, Fig. 2, is riveted to the disc B.
