756,945. Heating fluids by electricity. FISHER, A. A. June 25, 1954 [June 25, 1953], No. 17630/53. Class 39(3). A pipe P of mild steel or stainless nickel chrome steel extending from a funnel F and feeding chocolate to a mixer M constitutes a resistance element and heats the chocolate therein. The pipe is supplied with power from a transformer T and connectors L<SP>1</SP>, L<SP>11</SP>, and the connector L<SP>11</SP> is of insulated copper rod. If the pipe is of mild steel the connector L<SP>11</SP> causes some induction heating of the pipe. The temperature of the chocolate may be thermostatically controlled.
