756,043. Mixing-machines. BROOKS, E. Aug. 18, 1954 [May 18, 1953], No. 13816/53. Class 86. A mixing-machine for liquids or semi-liquids is provided with a container having in one side wall a recess in which is mounted wholly or partly a rotor on a substantially horizontal shaft, the container being pivotally mounted in a frame so that it can be tilted to empty the contents. As shown, the container 7 is formed with a recess 21 to accommodate the paddles 19 of a rotor 5 which is driven by an electric motor 3. The container is pivoted about the rotor shaft 13 and is provided with a spout 15 and a handle (not shown). The motor 3 is mounted on a hinged plate 11 which enables the tension in the belt drive 9 to be adjusted.
