In a reversible disc plough, disc hangers are mounted on a beam pivoted to the frame, and the discs are connected by a parallel-motion linkage controlled by a bell-crank lever pivoted on the beam and carrying a roller moving on the frame so that swinging of the beam causes the discs to be reversed. The frame comprises two longitudinal bars 10 which are welded at their front ends to a transverse member supporting members adapted to be fastened to the three-point linkage of a tractor. The plough beam 53 is pivoted in the frame 10 by a rod operating through a bearing 58 and at its rear end is stabilized by rollers 68 running on an arcuate rail 65. By depressing a lever 60, a member 95 which locks the beam 53 in position is disengaged and the beam is then free to be swung to its other working position by the lever 60. During the swinging movement, the disc hangers are automatically rotated by means of a parallel-motion linkage 97, 101 and a bellcrank lever 99 which is pivoted on the beam 53 and which also carries an adjustably-mounted roller 104 constrained to move between the frame members 10. The axle 26 of the furrow wheel 28 is slidable in a bearing 21 held on the frame members 10 by bolts 22. A pulley-wheel 29 is fixed to the axle 26 and carries a locking member 79 which engages catches 80. As the lever 60 is depressed these catches are lifted and the furrow wheel can be turned by the cable 76 which is connected to the plough beam and to the pulley-wheel 29. The spring 86 serves to reset the locking members after the lever 60 has been depressed, swung to one side and then released. The depth of the furrow wheel can be adjusted by means of the lever 45. The discs 73 are supported by disc hangers through adjustable carriers.
