753,923. Spectacle frames. BINDER, H. C. June 23, 1954 [May 20, 1954], No. 14779/54. Class 97 (1). In a spectacle frame having side pieces C the rims A surround the entire nasal, lower and temporal edges of full-sized spectacle lenses B but do not extend along the upper edges of the lenses which are rimless or of rimless appearance for substantially the whole of the distance between the nose and the temple of the wearer. The lenses may be secured in the rims by cement or by a thin inconspicuous band or cord extending over the tops of the lenses. The side arms C are integral with or hinged to the frame front and are curved downwardly at E to achieve a wide field of view. Specification 689,997 is referred to.
