Abstract
752,106. Escapements. HETTICH, H. Jan. 26, 1954 [Jan. 26, 1953],'No. 2304/54. Class 139 In an escapement, Figs. 1 and 2, overbanking is prevented by the co-operation between a split ring 10 on the balance staff 11 and an extension 7<SP>111</SP> of one of the horns 7" of the lever 5, 7. The balance 8 is mounted and supported as disclosed in Specification 735,471 and the escape wheel 3 is in a plane at rightangles to the plane of the balance. In a modification, not shown, the split ring is replaced by a cup-shaped member.
