Abstract
751,397. Bobbin containers. MASCHINEFABRIK SCHWEITER AKT. GES. March 25, 1954 [April 8, 1953], No. 8740/54. Class 120 (3). [Also in Group XVII] A container for the transport of bobbins from a winding machine to a loom comprises two vertical parallel side walls 1, 2, a rear wall 3, a top cover 4 and a baseplate 5 and in or near the latter a filling aperture, such as 8, which is preferably self - closing and through which the bobbins can be introduced so that the container can be filled from the bottom upwards. The aperture 8 is arranged in the base-plate at right angles to the rear wall and has spring-influenced shut-off flaps. Alternatively, the aperture may be formed in a side wall immediately above the base-plate. An opening may be provided in the top plate to enable a feeler from the winding unit to penetrate into the box to stop delivery of bobbins when the box is full.
