Abstract

751,315. Watches. MANUFACTURE DES MONTRES UNIVERSAL PERRET & BERTHOUD SOC. ANON. Aug. 6, 1954 [Sept. 1, 1953], No. 22874/54. Class 139 The winding crown 1, Fig. 2, has a central sleeve 6 screwed to the winding stem 10. A spring 3 located in a recess 2 in the crown 1 engages a washer 4 to press a compressible sealing member 7 which closely surrounds the sleeve 6 against the case 9. The inner surface 8 of the sealing member 7 is curved. A second washer 5 mounted in the crown 1 prevents the washer 4 from leaving the recess 2.
