Abstract
750,531. Centrifugal strainers. NEBEL, P. Jan. 18, 1954, No..1384/54. Class 46. In a continuously operating strainer centrifuge comprising a filter drum 3, 9, a push-plate 4, a funnel 8 and discharge chambers 12, 10, separated by a partition 11, blades 14 are incorporated within the inner surface of the drum to maintain the material therein in a loose condition. The blades are secured together by rings 15 and are secured to the drum by projections 16. In a modification, the blades are secured to the funnel and a bearing is provided therefor on the inlet pipe 6, 7. Again said blades may be secured to the push-plate 4. For constructional details of the blades the Specification and Figs. 3 and 4 of the drawings (not shown) should be referred to.
